Ingredients :
Leftover Chapathi - 5
Onion - 1 chopped
Hing - a pinch
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 spring
Coriander leaves - as required
Water - 2 tblsp
Lemon juice - 2 tblsp
Coconut oil - 2 tblsp
Method :
- Firstly, take the leftover chapathi and tear them into pieces and blend it to coarse.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds followed by curry leaves & coriander leaves.
- Add hing and chopped onions and saute it for few minutes.
- Add salt to taste so that onions turns soft quickly.
- Now add the spices, turmeric powder,chilli powder and garam masala and stir it for few minutes.
- Add the chapathi and mix it well so that it coats well.
- By adding little water cover and cook on low flame.
- Once they are cooked open the lid and add lemon juice and stir well.
- Finally, garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot.
